2016 (JUNIOR)
Saw action in 11 games, while starting two… Did not see action after suffering a season-ending ACL injury against Auburn… Logged 416 minutes with a career-high 98 coming against Vanderbilt… Took three shots on the season.
2015 (SOPHOMORE)
Played in 16 games for the Bulldogs, getting the starting nod four times… Logged 658 minutes in 2015… Recorded a season-high 81 minutes against Southern Miss (Sept. 6)… Posted five shots on the season, with three on target… Took one corner kick for MSU against Alabama (Oct. 25).

2014 (FRESHMAN)
Made an appearance in 15 games on the year and started in 12 of them … Saw 942 minutes of playing time … Played the entire 90 minutes in five contests … Took 10 shots, four of which were on goal … Recorded one assist on the season for her one point of the year … Started in the final 12 games she appeared in … Made her collegiate debut at Furman (Aug. 28) with eight minutes off the bench … Recorded her first assist against Arkansas State (Sept. 5) on a goal in the 86th minute … First-career start came vs. South Alabama (Sept. 12) in 72 minutes on the field … Also took a season-high three shots and two shots on goal against South Alabama.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
Played two seasons at Northwest Rankin High School and Brandon High School before moving to New Albany High School to play under the guidance of Caryl Vogel… Capped her Lady Bulldog career by scoring 18 goals and assisting four more to earn Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal Player of the Year honors… Became the first New Albany player selected to the Mississippi Association of Coaches 2014 All-Star Game, where she earned Best Defender honors… Helped New Albany to a second-straight division title and the second round of the playoffs where it fell to Richland in a shootout… Captained New Albany High the 2012-13 season, earning First Team All-Division 1-4A midfield honors after helping her squad to the division title… Named District Player of the Year and Most Valuable Defender after guiding Brandon High to the 2012 Mississippi Class 6A state championship … Earned all-district accolades and Most Valuable Midfielder honors at Brandon during the 2010-11 season… Named Most Valuable Midfielder and Best Newcomer in two seasons at Northwest Rankin… Played her club ball for Kenny White’s Mississippi Fire, where she won three Mississippi state club titles in 2007, 2009 and 2011… Earned MSA state runner-up medals with the Fire in 2008 and 2012… Claimed Gulf States Premier League runner-up honors with the Fire in 2012… Represented the Mississippi ODP team in 2010 and 2012, and was picked to the Region III ODP pool in 2012 after teaming with some of her fellow MSU rookies to guide the Mississippi squad to the Karen Flannigan Cup as the Region III champion.

Spent time with local children at car pool meet and greets at area schools… Was named a Dean’s Scholar in 2015… Has been a member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll each season.

Born Katelyn Watson on Oct. 18, 1995, in Starkville, Miss… The daughter of Michael and Teri Watson, and has two siblings, Jon Michael and Randi… Grandfather George McWilliams played baseball at Mississippi State…Majoring in special education… Favorite team to face is Ole Miss… Proudest academic moment at MSU is making the honor roll every semester… Wants to be a soccer coach and special education teacher after college.
