Tyler Fondren is in his first year as Mississippi State’s new graduate assistant.
A native of Sidon, Miss., Fondren was a standout golfer at Pillow Academy. He participated in many tournaments, as well as being a top finisher in multiple MJGA tournaments throughout his high school career.
Fondren graduated from Mississippi State in 2015 and earned degrees in Finance and Sports Studies. During his time at MSU, he was a student manager for the nationally ranked Mississippi State football team.
During two summers of his undergrad years, Fondren was the equipment intern for the New Orleans Saints, and he interned in the operations department of the Indianapolis Colts.
He is currently working towards a Masters degree in sports administration.
