Brianna Smith, a 2018 graduate of Mississippi State, enters her third season as the Director of Operations for track and field and cross country for the 2023-2024 season.

During her time at State, Smith competed in both the weight throw and hammer throw. Smith found success in the weight throw throughout her career, breaking her own school record twice and setting a new program record with a distance of 21.05m at the Vanderbilt Invitational in January of 2018.

Post graduation, Smith worked with a handful of professional teams in the production field. Again, finding success Smith went on to earn an Emmy and Telly award for her efforts before taking on the role as the director of operations.
