2019 Outdoor Season

Grenada: Won the NACAC U23 Championships (7/7) with a throw of 81.89m … won gold at the Pan American Games (8/10) with a meet-record, school-record and Grenadian-record throw of 87.31m ... threw 86.89m to win the IAAF World Championship (10/6) ... became Grenada's second world champion in any event and the first World Championships gold medalist in the javelin from the Americas ... was one of two 2019 NCAA Division I national champions to win the world title in the same event along with Florida's Grant Holloway (110m hurdles).

Mississippi State: Threw the javelin 82.64m on his first attempt of the year to win the Al Schmidt Bulldog Relays (3/23) and earn SEC Co-Field Athlete of the Week and USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week honors… posted the No. 3 throw in the world this season with an 86.07m heave in the javelin to break the school record and win the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays (3/29) on his way to repeating as SEC Co-Field Athlete of the Week and USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week … that throw ranks third in collegiate history … named MSU’s Male Athlete of the Year (4/22) … won the javelin at the National Relays (4/26) with a mark of 80.81m … became the first Bulldog man to defend an SEC outdoor championships since Garry Frank (shot put) in 1987 when he won the conference meet (5/9) while breaking his own meet record at 83.35m … was the top qualifier out of the NCAA East Prelims (5/24) with a 80.06m throw, which was a meet record … named the USTFCCCA Co-South Region Field Athlete of the Year (5/31) … won his second consecutive NCAA title at the NCAA Championships (6/5) while breaking his own meet record with a throw of 86.62m, which ranks third in NCAA history … led the second sweep of the men’s javelin podium by a single school in NCAA history and first since 1964 … broke the facility record at every venue he competed in except Austin, Texas, where the collegiate record was set … all 20 of his attempts on the year, excluding fouls, landed in the top 30 in the country … recorded the top 15 javelin throws of the season nationwide including six of the top-10 marks in NCAA history … named a semifinalist for The Bowerman for the second straight year becoming MSU’s second two-time semifinalist … finished the collegiate season ranked No. 6 in the world.

Ran the 60m prelims at the Vanderbilt Invitational (1/19), running 7.11.

2018 Outdoor Season

Grenada: Won a bronze medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games (4/14) with a mark of 82.20m… competed at the NAAATT National Championships (6/23) where he finished second with a throw of 79.97m … took home a silver medal from the Caribbean Games (8/2) after throwing 81.80m (268-4) …won the NACAC Championships (8/11), throwing 79.65m (261-4) to narrowly edge out MSU teammate Curtis Thompson.

Mississippi State: won the Jaguar Classic (3/16), Bulldog Relays (3/23) and Florida Relays (3/29)… first broke the MSU freshman record at the Bulldog Relays with a then-NCAA-leading 81.95m. took second to Quijera at the Penn Relays (4/28) … won the SEC Championship (5/11) with a meet-record and then-NCAA-leading throw of 82.04m … was the top qualifier out of the NCAA East Prelims (5/26) … paired with Nicolas Quijera to make MSU the first school to finish first and second in the event since 2007 (North Carolina) … won the NCAA Championship (6/6) in the javelin with a meet-record throw of 82.82m breaking his own MSU freshman record …was part of MSU’s “JavU” corps that made the Bulldogs the first program in NCAA history with three men to throw more than 80.00m.

2018 Indoor Season

2017 Outdoor Season

Redshirted his first year at Mississippi State, but competed unattached, winning the javelin at the Bulldog Relays (3/18) with a throw of 75.29m … won the 2017 Trinidad and Tobago National Open Championships with a throw of 83.36m to break his own Grenadian national record then improved to 84.81m to win the 2017 OECS Championships … attended the 2017 IAAF World Championships where he finished 20^th.

2017 Indoor Season

Did not compete.

Before the Bulldogs

Attended St. David’s Secondary School where his team won four state title … is a five-time CARIFTA Games champion in the javelin … earned a bronze medal at the 2016 IAAF World U20 Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland, where he first set the Grenadian national record at 79.65m … finished second at the 2016 OECS Championships.
