AS A JUNIOR (2007):
Earned NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete and Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll honors last season after tallying a 4.0 GPA in the classroom ... Played in 23 games, receiving 13 starts in the infield ... Posted a .167 batting average with seven runs and 11 RBI in 42 at-bats ... Had a .978 fielding percentage with two assists and just two errors ... Scored two runs, including a home run, in the game against Seton Hall while also boasting a career-high four RBI in that contest ... Followed that performance with another multiple-RBI game against North Carolina, hitting another home run while driving in two runs against the Tarheels.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2006):
Saw action in 42 games, including 34 starts, all of which came at first base ... Posted a .151 batting average in 86 at-bats with nine runs scored on 13 hits and one RBI ... Posted a .181 batting average in 177 at-bats with 27 runs scored on 32 hits, including five extra-base hits, and 12 RBI ... Tallied a .232 slugging percentage and a .260 on-base percentage ... Also drew 18 walks, was hit by pitch once and was a perfect 2-for-2 on stolen base attempts ... Added a team-best 13 sacrifice hits as well ... Committed just two errors in 462 total chance for a school record .996 fielding percentage ... Produced one game-winning RBI and crossed the plate with the winning run on three occasions ... Turned in nine multiple-hit games and a pair of multiple-RBI performances ... Showed signs of clutch hitting after tallying a .500 (5-for-10) average with runners on third and less than two outs ... Hit .500 (8-for-16) with three walks, three RBI and eight runs in five starts at the Bulldog Round-Robin en route to all-tournament team honors ... HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB:
Prepped at West Aurora High School for coach Donna Proctor ... Played club softball for the Aurora Raiders and coach Gary Hunley ... Played and started every game as a prep senior and co-captained West Aurora to a 21-14 record and the region championship as a prep senior ... Hit .404 with eight doubles, four triples, four home runs and 19 RBI and was 9-for-10 on stolen base attempts ... An all-conference team member, was also named to The Beacon News all-area team ... Also collected team MVP accolades ... As a high school junior, helped lead the Blackhawks to an 18-16 record and a championship at the St. Charles Tournament ... Hit .327 with six doubles, 10 walks and 21 RBI, while also finishing a perfect 6-for-6 on stolen base attempts ... Named to the DVC all-conference team as well as The Beacon News all-area team ... Played and started every game for the Aurora Raiders and helped lead the squad to a fifth-place finish at the USSA World Series, as well as runner-up honors at both the Rockford and Orlando Park qualifiers ... Also lettered in basketball and golf at West Aurora where she currently holds the school record for lowest round (75).
