HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
Was a member of the SEC All-Star Team that went to the 2005 Canada Cup ... Prepped at Oak Mountain High School for coach Danny Dubose ... Played club softball for the Birmingham Vipers and coach Holly Vance ... Helped lead her Oak Mountain squad to a third place finish at the Alabama state tournament as a junior, while capturing sub-state and sectional championships along the way ... A three-sport athlete, she also lettered in volleyball and indoor track at Oak Mountain ... A two-time all-state volleyball player, Cooley captained her squad to a pair of runner-up finishes at the state tournament and was dubbed the No. 3 athlete in the state as a senior, as well as being named Metro-Player of the Year by the Birmingham News.
