Earned Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll and NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for her work in the classroom ...Saw action in 15 games, starting six of them ... Posted a .217 batting average in 23 at-bats ... Had a .217 slugging percentage and a .280 on-base percentage ... Tallied five runs scored and one run batted in ... Drew two walks ... Posted an .800 fielding percentage.
AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2006):
Saw action in 28 games, having started 20 games, 14 of which came at third base ... Posted a .225 batting average in 40 at-bats with two runs scored on nine hits ... Knocked in two RBI ... Tallied a .225 slugging percentage and a .340 on-base percentage ... Recorded one multiple-hit game ... Also drew seven walks ... Committed three errors in 58 total chances for a fielding percentage of .948 ... Went 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI at Long Beach State.
AS A FRESHMAN (2005):
Redshirted after undergoing surgery to repair a torn meniscus in her left knee on March 21 ... Captured her first career hit on pinch-hit appearance in State’s win over Mississippi Valley State on February 6 ... Turned in a pair of walks and an RBI on a 1-for-1 plate tally against St. Francis (PA) on March 4.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB:
Prepped at Lawrence County High School for coach Beronica Stringfellow ... Played club softball for the Mississippi Blast and coach Dale Chisolm ... Played and started every game as a prep senior and helped lead Lawrence County to a 29-7 record, its fourth consecutive district championship and a runner-up finish at the South State tournament ... Hit .384 with six doubles, four triples, three home runs and 31 RBI en route to earning all-district and all-state accolades ... Also earned all-area honors from The Daily Leader and was a Clarion-Ledger Top Performer ... Also decorated with MAC all-star honors ... As a prep junior, helped lead Lawrence County to a 13-8 record and its third consecutive district championship ... Hit .350 with 14 RBI and earned all-district laurels, as well as her team’s MVP award .... Also earned all-area honors from The Daily Leader ... Currently holds the Lawrence County High School record for fewest strikeouts in a single season (2) ...
