AS A JUNIOR (2007):
Earned First Team all-SEC honors and was named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll ... Earned the team’s Most Valuable Player and Gold Glove awards ... Also selected to the Bulldog Round Robin all-Tournament team ... Played in 61 games for the year, starting all of those at shortstop .... Established the school’s third-best, single-season RBI total with a team-leading 56 for the season, a number that ranked fifth best in the conference and 36th nationally ... Finished second in the league with 26 RBI in SEC games ... Posted a team-high .514 slugging percentage while boasting a .452 on-base percentage which matched the team lead ... Also named Potomac News and Manassas Journal-Messenger Player of the Year, as well as Washington Post All-Met, All-District, All-Region and All-State selection ... In the pitcher’s circle, was 11-1 with an 0.71 ERA and 65 strikeouts ... Pitched back-to-back shutouts against nationally-ranked Mills-Godwin and James Madison to clinch state title ... Winning pitcher in state title game and scored the game’s only run after an infield single, two stolen bases and a wild pitch against one of the top pitchers in the state ... Member of the Virginia Shamrocks that won ASA Gold Nationals in 2005, marking the highest finish for a team from the East coast in the history of the tournament ...
