2009 SEASON HIGHLIGHTS
- Selected to the United States National Team roster and helped the Red, White and Blue to gold medals at the Canada Cup, World Cup of Softball and Japan Cup alongside head coach Jay Miller.
- Tabbed NFCA First Team All-American for the third-straight year, becoming the first Bulldog to earn first-team honors three times.
- Claimed NFCA/Diamond Sports Division I Catcher of the Year, All-SEC First Team Catcher, USA Softball Player of the Year Top 25 finalist for the second-straight year.
- Won the adidas Golden Shoe Award from the NFCA for the top base stealer in Division I.
- An All-America Athlete of the Year selection from the National Strength Coaches Association.
- Earned her second-straight ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America honor (2nd team) after claiming a second All-District First Team selection and third SEC Academic Honor Roll award.
- Led the nation with 0.96 stolen bases per game after setting the school's single-season record (54-of-60) for the third time.
- Bettered her own single-game steals record with five in a win over Louisiana-Monroe at the season-opening Bulldog Round-Robin.
- Passed Iyhia McMichael for the MSU career steals record with 146, a total that ranks fourth in Southeastern Conference history.
- Led the team with a school-record .486 batting average that ranked in the top-four nationally and paced the SEC.
- Also topped the conference in hits (88) and paced the squad with 55 runs scored.
- Tallied nine extra-base hits (seven doubles and two triples) and drove in 16 runs.
- Finished the year with a team-high 28 multiple-hit games, including 17 two-hit efforts and 11 games with three hits.
- Matched a career-high for runs scored (3) five times this season.
- Paced MSU with 11 game-winning runs, moving into third all-time with 29 for her career.
- Tied for the eighth-highest fielding percentage in a season with a .990 clip that included 286 putouts and 19 assists to just three errors in 308 chances.
- Threw out 72 percent of would-be base stealers (14-of-36).
- Collected a career-best 16-game hit streak from Feb. 15-Mar. 15.
- Went 8-for-15 with five runs scored and nine stolen bases to earn all-tournament honors at the season-opening Bulldog Round-Robin.
- Scored the walk-off run in an upset of No. 23 Purdue at the Sunshine Classic in Tallahassee, Fla.
- Crossed the plate with three runs in a Feb. 14 win over Miami (Ohio) and drove in a run in a four-run fifth inning as the Bulldogs rallied for a 5-4, Sunshine Classic-clinching win over Florida State.
- Hit .700 (7-for-10) with two RBI, five runs scored and four stolen bases to earn all-tournament honors at the Bulldog Classic.
- Went 3-for-3 and scored twice against Evansville before posting a 2-for-2, two-run effort against SIU-Edwardsville in the Bulldog Classic championship game.
- Earned all-tournament honors at the Pepsi Malihini Kipa Aloha Tournament in Honolulu, Hawaii, after hitting a team-best .565 (13-for-23) with three doubles, two RBI, six runs and 7-of-9 stolen bases.
- Collected a pair of hits and scored three times as Mississippi State avenged a 2008 NCAA Tournament loss to the host Rainbow Wahine with a 14-11 win.
- Went 4-for-9 at the plate with three runs scored as the Dawgs claimed an SEC series win over No. 9 Tennessee.
- Pounded out three hits and scored the winning run from second base on a 10th-inning sacrifice fly to left-center field as the Maroon and White took a 3-1 win over No. 6 Georgia.
- Tallied three hits and scored four runs in a sweep of Ole Miss.
- Went 3-for-4 with an RBI and run scored in the Bulldogs' NCAA Tournament opening-round game against California.
2008 SEASON HIGHLIGHTS
- Named first team NFCA All-American, Diamond Sports/NFCA Division I Catcher of the Year and All-SEC First Team catcher.
- Selected first team ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-American, NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete and academic all-SEC.
- One of 25 finalists for USA Softball Player of the Year.
- Notched MSU's second-highest tally for batting average (.450) and hits (90) and scored 52 runs, the most by a sophomore and seventh-highest overall.
- Stole 46 of 50 bases and ranked fifth nationally in steals per game (0.77).
- Swiped 26-straight bases, fourth-most in school annals, to start the season.
- Compiled a .993 fielding percentage (two errors in 273 chances) and threw out 11-of-27 base stealers.
- Named all-tournament at the NCAA Tempe Regional, Bulldog Round-Robin and Bully Bash, and shared MVP honors at the Bulldog Classic.
- Selected SEC Player of the Week after going 11-for-17 with six RBI and seven runs scored at season-opening Cathedral City Kickoff.
- Hit her first career grand slam against UC Riverside (2/9) and matched a career high for hits with a 4-for-4 outing against San Diego State.
- Went 3-for-4, including the game-winning hit, against UMass at the NFCA Leadoff Classic.
- Went 6-for-9 with an inside-the-park home run, five RBI and eight runs at the Bully Bash.
- Hit .545 (6-for-11) with two RBI, four runs scored and 2-for-2 stolen bases in the NCAA Tournament.
2007 SEASON HIGHLIGHTS
- Selected NFCA First Team All-American at utility after being named second team all-SEC, all-Freshman SEC and SEC Freshman of the Year.
- Also claimed Freshman Academic All-SEC and NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors.
- Won the team's Top Hiitter Award with a .386 batting average and tallied a team-high 83 hits, 56 runs, and 95 total bases.
- Stole 46 bases in 50 attempts, including a school second-most 38 straight.
- Successfully swiped four bases against South Carolina.
- Committed 20 errors in 277 chances for a .928 fielding percentage.
- Was 9-for-20 (.450) with nine runs scored to earn all-tournament honors at the Bulldog Round-Robin.
- Went 6-for-11 (.545) with six runs scored in four games against Ole Miss.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB HIGHLIGHTS
- Prepped at First Assembly Christian School for coach Phillip Spain and played club softball for the Rose Kalisak's Memphis Fusion.
- Helped lead FACS to a 34-8 record and a state tournament berth as a junior.
- Hit .735 (86-for-117) with 26 extra-base hits (10 HR) and 41 RBI while stealing 98-of-102 bases for First Assembly.
- Tallied a 19-2 record as the Lady Crusaders' ace pitcher.
- A "Best of Preps" selection by The Commercial Appeal.
- Hit .504 (67-for-133) in 50 games with 12 extra-base hits (2 HR), 16 RBI and 29-of-35 stolen bases for the Memphis Fusion.
