2000 Sydney Olympic Games Schedule
^ The United States was disqualified in the men's 4x400m relay and medals were reallocated in 2008, resulting in Nigeria's gold medal. The IOC also stripped the U.S. of its gold medal in the women's 4x400m relay in 2008, briefly elevating Nigeria to a bronze medal; however, the Court of Arbitration for Sport overturned that decision in 2010 due to the fact that, according to the rules at the time, a team should not be disqualified because of a doping offense of one athlete.
