^ As part of a two-year pilot program between the NCAA & the ITA, the NCAA Individual championships were held in the fall for the first time during the 2024-25 athletic year. Players qualified through four ITA invitationals from September-November.

Spring 2025
• SEC Scholar Athlete of the Year … NCAA Elite 90 Winner … CSC Academic All-District.
• First Team All-SEC … SEC Player of the Week (4/09).
• Earned the No. 1 doubles ranking in America with Benito Sanchez Martinez. The duo spent two weeks at No. 1.
• Ranked inside the top 5 of the ITA Doubles rankings every week since March 4.
• Dual singles record of 18-7 (9-5 SEC) and dual doubles record of 22-1 (12-0 SEC). All doubles wins were with Sanchez Martinez on court one.
• With Sanchez Martinez, the duo ended the season winning 17 consecutive doubles matches. During the streak, only four matches went unfinished.
• Played singles primarily on court two where he had an 11-4 record.
• 5-2 in singles matches that went three sets.
• 17 doubles wins came against ranked opponents … 8 singles wins were against ranked opponents.
• Season-long 8 match singles winning streak from March 23 to April 18.
• Ended season ranked No. 67 in ITA singles rankings.
• Helped Mississippi State to 25 dual match wins, tied for the most in program history with the 1979 team.

• His 33 doubles wins in 2025 is tied for 4th all-time at State in a single season.
• He won 40 combined dual matches (singles & doubles) ranking 3rd all-time in a single season at State.
• His 22 dual match doubles victories with Sanchez Martinez in 2025 set a program record for the most all-time in a season at Mississippi State.
• Jovanovic & Sanchez Martinez had a dual doubles winning percentage of .960 (22-1), setting a single-season program record.
Fall 2024
• ITA All-American w/ Benito Sanchez Martinez (Doubles).
• One of three Bulldogs to qualify for the NCAA Individual Championships
• Won the ITA Southern Regional Championship with five straight wins … Shared title with Sanchez Martinez. The victory qualified him for the NCAA Individual Championships.
• Won the inaugural ITA Conference Masters Championship in doubles with Sanchez Martinez. The pair won every match in straight sets. The championship victory qualified them for the NCAA Individual Championships in doubles.
• Earned second career All-American honor at the NCAA Individual Championships after defeating No. 4 Filippos Astreindis and Paul Inchauspe from Princeton (6-4, 6-2) in the round of 16.
• Fall singles record of 7-3; doubles record of 11-3.
2023-24 (Sophomore Season)
Spring 2024
• ITA All-American w/ Benito Sanchez Martinez (Doubles) after advancing to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Doubles Championships.
• First Team All-SEC … SEC Player of the Week (3/27/24) … CSC Academic All-District … ITA Scholar Athlete.
• Ranked as high as No. 6 in the ITA Doubles rankings with Sanchez Martinez after starting the season ranked No. 13.
• Led the team in overall singles wins (fall & spring) with 28 … Tied for the team-high in doubles wins with 25 … 24 of the doubles wins came with Sanchez Martinez.
• Led the team in wins vs. ranked opponents with nine in singles and 12 in doubles.
• Earned a singles dual match record of 15-10 (8-4 SEC) and a doubles dual match record of 15-6 (8-2 SEC).
• 12 of his singles wins came on court two while 13 of his doubles wins came on court one.
• Won 37 combined singles & doubles dual matches, tied for 5th most in a single-season at State.
Fall 2023
• Fall singles record of 13-5; Fall doubles record of 10-5.
• Won the consolation bracket of the ITA Fall National Championship in singles … Defeated a pair of top 20 opponents to win the bracket.
• Advanced to the quarterfinals of the ITA All-American Championship in singles.
• Advanced to the consolation round of 16 in doubles at the ITA All-American Championship.

Spring 2023

• Earned a dual match singles record of 19-8 (5-7 SEC; Earned a dual match doubles record of 18-8 (7-5 SEC).
• Finished second on the team in total wins (fall & spring) with 25; Led the team in total doubles wins with 20.
• Season-high 14-match winning streak in singles from fall to spring (Nov. 4-Feb. 25).
• Ranked as high as 107 in the ITA singles rankings.
Fall 2022
• Earned a singles record of 6-2; Earned a doubles record of 2-4.
• Won three matches in the SEC-Big 12 Challenge, helping the SEC win the event.
