SENIOR (2010-11):
Enters this season as one of two seniors in MSU's lineup.
SPRING - After dropping his two opening matches won four-straight including an impressive come-from-behind win against UAB to help MSU claim its consecutive 7-0 victory to open the home season.
JUNIOR (2009-10):
Backed up another impressive fall with a consistent spring where he clinched matches for MSU a team-best three times.
FALL - For the second straight fall, tallied 10-plus wins, this time earning 11, which tied for second-most on the team... Posted the second-highest winning percentage of any Bulldog, claiming 79 percent of his fall matches... Began the season reeling off seven straight victories before falling in the second round of qualifying at the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla... Earned runner-up status in Flight D singles at the Virginia Tech Challenge... Won his first match over a ranked opponent, claiming a three-set battle over Virginia Tech's 81st-ranked Patrick Daciek... Boasts an impressive 3-1 record in three-set matches and tiebreaker points.
SPRING - Was a steady 11-9 in dual match play in singles and earned three conference victories for the Bulldogs... Earned first career singles ranking on Feb. 18, entering the national polls at 122nd and won all three matches played while holding a national ranking...Earned an upset victory of 51st-ranked Jesus Bandres of East Tennessee State... Was MState's match-clinching point a team-best three times, the first coming against DePaul at the Harvard Kickoff Tournament... Was the match-clinching point in the Bulldogs home opener against UAB and again at home against SEC-foe Arkansas.
SOPHOMORE (2008-09):
After a promising freshman year, Lastre made strides of improvement for the Bulldogs.
FALL - In his first fall season with MSU, posted a stellar 10-4 overall record and 10-2 record among Southeast Regional competition... Had four straight victories at the Crimson Tide Fall Invitational that led to him claiming the championship in the John Hannah Draw... Ended the season with two straight wins in consolation play at the Seminole Invitational.
SPRING - Put together a .500 record in dual match play, including an impressive 4-1 ledger at the #5 position... Began the dual match season with three straight wins at USC, vs. Saint Mary's and in a neutral site match against Ole Miss... Was a solid 12-4 in tiebreaker points... Tied for a team-high five SEC victories... Ended the season claiming victories in two of his last three matches.
FRESHMAN (2007-08):
Arrived at the beginning of the spring semester.
SPRING - Played in 20 matches for the Maroon and White... Posted an 8-10 overall record, 8-8 in dual match play, and 3-8 in SEC play, while also managing a .500 record on the road in his first season of collegiate action... Picked up his first collegiate victory at Georgia Tech which sparked a streak of four straight wins for the youngster... Competed in 12 matches at the #5 spot, six at the #6 position, while competing at the #4 slot twice... Only participated in two doubles matches, slipping up in both.
PRE-MSU:
Attended La Cala de Mijas High School (2005-07)...Ranked in the top 100 in Spain.

Antonio Lastre was born December 15, 1988, in Málaga, Spain...The son of José Antonio Lastre Rodríguez and Soledad González Sánchez... Likes the professional talents of Roger Federer... Also enjoys playing golf... Majoring in business and management at MSU.
