Clayton saw action in nine career games over his three seasons with the program which was highlighted by a trio of 20-plus win campaigns, a 2019 NCAA Tournament trip and 2018 NIT Final Four run … The last time MSU recorded three straight 20-plus win seasons was in 2007-08, 2008-09 and 2009-10.

Clayton made his first of four appearances against Long Beach State (Nov. 16) where he handed out an assist … Also logged minutes versus Alcorn State (Nov. 26), BYU (Dec. 29) and Texas A&M (March 9) during the SEC Tournament … Scored his first career points on a tip-in during the closing minutes.

Clayton played in four games with his career debut versus Alabama State (Nov. 10) during the season opener … Also appeared against Florida A&M (Nov. 18), North Georgia (Dec. 9) and Ole Miss (Feb. 17) … Played a total of nine minutes with zero stats.
