CAREER: Played in the 2008, 2009 and 2012 NCAA Tournament, in which she hit .389 (7-for-18) with five runs, two walks, a double and a home run . . . The school record holder with 52 career hit by pitches, which ranked second in SEC history at the end of her eligibility . . . Ended her Bulldog career sixth in school history in walks (80), tied for sixth in home runs (17), seventh in on-base percentage (.428), seventh in stolen base percentage (.848) and eighth in stolen bases (56) . . . 2012 Highlights: Ended her final campaign for the Maroon and White 19th in the country in on-base percentage and 15th nationally in hit by pitches per game . . . Finished the SEC regular season third in on-base percentage (.531), fourth in batting average (.379), fifth in slugging percentage (.676), tied for fifth in triples (3), eighth in total bases (98), 10th in runs scored (40) and first in hit by pitches (school-record 20) . . . Was the game-winning run a team-high eight times and drove in the game-winning run on five occasions . . . Led the team in batting average, slugging percentage, on-base percentage, runs, triples, total bases and hit by pitches . . . Reached base safely in 50 of 57 games . . . Started off the season by reaching base a career-best 23-straight games . . . 2011 HIGHLIGHTS: Started the first nine games of the season before tearing her ACL in the championship game of the Bulldog Round-Robin . . . Scored a run in the season opener against Illinois-Chicago . . . Tallied a single vs. UNLV . . . Went 2-for-3 with a run scored against Illinois-Chicago in the second game against UIC . . . Doubled and scored a run as State defeated SIU to clinch a spot in the Bulldog Round-Robin championship game.
2010 HIGHLIGHTS: Started 52 games while playing in all but one . . . Hit .295 (43-for-146) and set career highs for doubles (6) and home runs (4) . . . Also tallied a personal-best 27 RBI, the second-most on the team . . . Paced MSU with 24 walks and was hit by a pitch seven times, putting her four back of the career record with 29 . . . Stole 13-of-15 bases, moving into ninth in school history with 46 career swipes . . . Drove in the game-winning run four times while scoring the clinching run three times . . . Named MVP of the season-opening Bulldog Round-Robin after hitting .500 with a home run and five RBI . . . Went 2-for-3 with a career-high three RBI against Stephen F. Austin in the season opener . . . Homered and doubled in going 3-for-4 in the weekend’s second meeting with SFA . . . Closed the weekend with two hits and an RBI in the tournament-clinching win against UAB . . . 2009 HIGHLIGHTS: Played and started 55 of the team’s 56 games last season, hitting .254 with two doubles, two home runs, 16 RBI and 25 runs scored . . . Finished second on the squad with 25 runs scored and 16 stolen bases . . . Hit by a pitch 13 times, a mark which stands second in single-season school history . . . Moved into third on the career hit by a pitch chart (22) . . . Tied for second on the team with three game-winning RBI and scored the clinching run four times . . . Compiled a .986 fielding percentage as she tallied 68 putouts and five assists while committing just one error . . . Went 2-for-4 at the plate and scored twice in a win over Louisiana-Monroe at the Bulldog Round-Robin . . . Hit her first home run of the season, a three-run shot, in State’s win over Hawaii . . . Drove in two runs in State’s series-opening win over No. 9 Tennessee and went 3-for-4 in the finale, while scoring twice in the rubber game . . . 2008 HIGHLIGHTS: Saw action in 55 games, starting 32 times in right field, including the last 17 games . . . Went 23-for-87 at the plate on the year (.264 average) with five doubles, two home runs, 10 RBI and 26 runs scored . . . Stole a team third-best 17 bases . . . Registered multiple hits four times and multiple RBI once . . . Drew six walks and was hit by a pitch a school third-most nine times . . . Compiled a .906 fielding percentage, claiming 28 putouts in 32 chances while committing three errors . . . Hit .351 (13-for-37) with three doubles, two home runs and six RBI over the final 13 games . . . Named SEC Freshman of the Week after hitting .625 with three RBI, five runs, a double and her first career home run against Georgia.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB HIGHLIGHTS: Started all four of her varsity seasons for Riverview High School under head coach Angela Slater . . . Hit .526 for her career and set career records for triples (18) and stolen bases (32-of-39) . . . Set the school record for triples in a season with nine in 2007 . . . Named Western Conference Most Valuable Player and Federal Team First Team as a senior after hitting .579 with 10 stolen bases, nine doubles, 25 runs and 25 RBI . . . Earned RHS MVP and first team All-Western Conference accolades in both 2006 and 2007 . . . Posted a .612 average as a junior, setting school records with 40 runs scored and 12 stolen bases in 15 attempts . . . Selected to the Tampa Tribune All-County Team . . .
