A four-year letter-winner for Mississippi State from 2009-10 to 2013, Baxter Price enters his first season as a graduate assistant on Ben Howland’s staff ahead of the 2018-19 season.
Price first came to MSU as a walk-on in 2009 and played in 48 games over his career with the Bulldogs. He was an all-Southeastern Conference Academic honor roll selection in 2012 and served as the Student Athlete Advisory Committee Leader for the men’s basketball team during his senior season.
Most recently, Price worked for the Mississippi based furniture manufacturer Franklin Corporation for three years where he served as a sales representative in Houston, Texas, and more recently Raleigh, N.C.
Price, a Starkville native earned his bachelor’s in business administration and is currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration (MBA). He is set to graduate in May of 2019.
Price was born Nov. 4, 1990, and is the son of Mark and Laurie Price.
