Plan Highlights
The Mississippi State Athletics Master Plan is a long-term vision and road map for facility enhancements for the department. Highlights of the proposed Master Plan include:
- Enhancing the student-athlete experience through safety, development, and recovery
- Optimize efficiency and accessibility to resources
- Enhance player nutrition areas
- Create new training rooms, hydrotherapy and equipment rooms to align with the needs of the future
- Positively impact all student-athletes through improvements made by Master Plan
- Enhancements to Davis Wade Stadium to improve fan experience and generate competitive excellence
- Increase fan amenities
- Enrich game day atmosphere
- Modernize stadium to meet today’s fan desires
- New indoor football practice facility adjacent to Leo Seal Jr. Football Complex
- Interior renovation proposals of all athletics facilities to optimize space and efficiency for student-athletes, recruiting, coaches, staff and guests
- Identifying revenue generating opportunities
- Proposal to realign road geometry north of Dudy Noble Field to create clear entry and access to Leo Seal Jr. Football Complex from Lakeview Drive
- Create recruiting lounges to showcase Mississippi State to prospects
