A New Era Inside Humphrey Coliseum

Mississippi State men and women's basketball had a year of success both on the floor and in the stands inside the newly-renovated Humphrey Coliseum. Both teams surpassed their second-consecutive 20-win season under second-year head coaches Chris Jans and Sam Purcell. The men’s team posted two top-10 wins at home playing in front of seven sellout crowds, while the women's team defeated No. 9 LSU in front of the team's first sellout since 2018-19. The Hump saw more fans than any year prior, selling over 300,000 tickets in a single season for the first time ever.
Now more than ever, it's important to secure your spot in The Hump for the 2024-25 season before it's too late! Make sure you have a seat for EVERY home game next year!
A LOOK BACK AT LAST SEASON IN THE HUMP

I'm excited about the growing crowds and atmosphere at the renovated Hump. Driving into work on gameday, you can feel the energy and walking into the arena - you get that 'big game' vibe. We appreciate the fans being our sixth man. It makes a huge impact on our games. Hopefully, they continue to like our style of play. and that our kids compete every night and aim to leave everything on the floor.- COACH CHRIS JANS
The support from this fanbase has been undeniable since I got the job, but this season they took it to another level. I asked for our first sellout and our fans delivered an unforgettable night. The students showed up this season when we needed them, and The Hump remained one of the best home court advantages in our sport. There were multiple times where our fans wouldn’t let us be denied and their energy propelled us to the win; their support makes all the difference in the SEC. For us to remain top-20 nationally in average home attendance for the ninth straight season speaks volumes how much this fanbase loves this program and how special of a community this is for women’s basketball.- COACH SAM PURCELL
