Bags

Buses
All buses must enter campus at the intersection of Hwy. 182 and George Perry St., turn east (left) on Bailey Howell Drive to Lee Blvd., and turn west (right) on Lee to bus parking. Bus parking is available in front of Hilbun and Harned Halls (see map). Buses must exit campus via Lee Blvd. to Hwy. 182 and merge right onto Hwy. 182 (no left turns at Hwy. 182).
Clear Bag Policy
In the interest of enhancing existing security measures at games involving Southeastern Conference schools, the SEC will implement a new security policy regulating the size and type of bag that may be carried into all stadiums in which SEC schools host games, beginning with the 2017 football season.
For medically-necessary bags, fans should enter at Gates B & I for screening.

Code of Conduct

Courtesy Carts
Courtesy carts, operating around the stadium, can be identified by a maroon flag and are driven by gameday event staff. Call 662-325-9114.

Cowbells
Cowbells are permitted in Davis Wade Stadium, but only can be used at designated times per SEC Bylaw regulating the use of traditional institutional noisemakers. Fans should consult the videoboards for in-game instructions on the use of cowbells.
Driving Directions
To Campus
• If coming from the south, travel north on Hwy. 25 to Hwy. 12 East and enter campus via Spring St., Bully Blvd. or Stone Blvd. for parking areas south of Davis Wade Stadium.
• To access parking north of the stadium, continue on Hwy. 12 East to Collegeview St. or Hwy. 182 and enter at George Perry St.
To Mississippi Horse Park
• If traveling north on Hwy. 25, turn right on Longview Road (which then becomes Poorhouse Road).
• If traveling south on Hwy. 25 or approaching Starkville on Highways 82 or 12, take Hwy. 25 Bypass, turn left on Longview Road.
• Alternate route: Take South Montgomery Street 3.5 miles to Poorhouse Road. Turn left and go .8 miles.
Drones
Drones, model aircraft or any other remote-controlled flying objects are not permitted or allowed to be operated on the Mississippi State campus.
Emergencies
Ambulances and police are already on campus for gameday and may be contacted through 911 or 325-2121. If inside Davis Wade Stadium, please contact Game Management at 662-325-8158.

Emergency Preparedness
• During any emergency inside Davis Wade Stadium, follow the directions of the PA announcer, event staff, and emergency responders.
• Always designate a pre-determined location both inside and outside the stadium to meet friends and family in case you get separated or in the event of an emergency.
• Upon arriving at your seat location, locate the nearest exit and an alternate exit in case of an emergency.
• See Something, Say Something – If you see or become aware of any activity that is unusual, suspicious, or causes you concern, report the activity to the nearest police officer or event staff.
• Emergency vehicles may be present in and around Davis Wade Stadium. Please do not obstruct the path of travel of an emergency vehicle or interfere with any of their operations. Vehicles blocking emergency vehicles, exits, or traffic are subject to being towed at the owner's expense. Please do not obstruct any exits or exit pathways.
• Monitor the weather prior to the game and take any necessary precautions to protect your family and friends should severe weather be encountered before, during, or after the game. In the event of severe weather during the game, please be prepared to evacuate Davis Wade Stadium and return to your car.
First Aid
First Aid locations inside Davis Wade Stadium are:
• West side - Ground level behind Section 4)

• East side - Ground level (behind Section 23)
• East side - Sky deck level by the south elevator lobby (behind section 338)

Golf Cart/Low-Speed Vehicle Policy
• Privately owned golf carts are expected to operate in the same manner as an automobile or other motorized vehicle.
• All golf carts must comply with Mississippi Motor Vehicle and Traffic regulations. (See Miss. Code Annotated Title 63-1-1 seq.)
• Operators of private golf carts must possess a valid driver's license and proper insurance identifying the vehicle driven.
• All privately owned golf carts operated on campus must possess a valid license plate.
• Privately owned golf carts may only be operated on streets open for public traffic. Privately owned golf carts will not be allowed access to roadways closed prior to game time, such as Creelman, Barr Ave., B.S. Hood Streets, and Stone Boulevard.
• Without exception, private golf carts are prohibited on any grass or any tailgating areas such as the Cullis Wade Depot lawn, Fan Fare area, the Junction, West Lawn tent area, or others areas on game day.
• Privately owned golf carts may not be driven alongside any closed road or on any sidewalks or grass.
• Privately owned golf carts must possess a license plate and have a valid Bulldog Club Parking Pass or Public Paid Parking Pass to park in campus lots on game day. As with automobiles, golf carts may not exit and re-enter reserved or pay lots on game days.
• Violation of these rules could result in the issuance of traffic citations and other penalties, as outlined by state laws and/or university policies.
• Privately owned all-terrain, four wheel, farm utility, “gators” or other side by side vehicles are also prohibited on campus.

Information
Information booths are located behind section 04 (west side), behind section 09 (northeast corner) and behind section 21 (east side).
Junction/Tailgating Guidelines
• All picnic areas open at 4 p.m. the day before a game. (EXCEPTION: This time will be 1 p.m. on Nov. 22 for the MSU-Ole Miss game on Nov. 23)
• REMINDER: Personal tents or supplies may not be placed in campus tailgating areas, including the Junction, to hold tailgating spots until 5 a.m. the day before home football games.
• All picnic areas close at midnight daily.
• Grass areas immediately adjacent to reserved parking lots are open for tailgating to those who have passes to those parking lots on game days.
• No wheeled vehicles or trailers are permitted (i.e. large grills that are pulled with a vehicle).
• Generators are allowed, but battery inverters are preferred.
• Charcoal grills are allowed, but charcoal must be fully extinguished and disposed of in a responsible manner. Fire pits are not allowed.
• Garbage (black bags) and recycling (green bags) should be sealed and left for collection at your tailgating location or disposed of in a trash or recycling container. Black and green bags are available on the poles located throughout gameday areas.
• The university will follow local ordinances and state laws regarding alcohol.
• Small tents are permitted. No stakes larger than 1/4 inch in diameter and no longer than 6 inches. No ropes. Larger tents must be rented from Southern Tradition Tailgating, the tailgate services and tent services provider for the MSU campus. All fans wishing to acquire tailgate services (small pop-up tents) or tent services (large tents) should coordinate directly Southern Tradition Tailgating at www.SouthernTraditionTailgating.com or SouthernTraditionTailgte@yahoo.com. (Anyone charging for setting up more than 10 tailgate setups is NOT allowed on the MSU campus. Any fan acquiring services from a service that is not allowed on campus should understand they may be removed from campus.)
• University departments interested in tent services should contact MSU Event Services at 662-325-3228.
• Connection to university utilities is strictly prohibited.
• Picnic areas must be vacated by 7 a.m. the day after the game. MSU is not responsible for any tailgate items left before, during, or after the game.
• Pets are prohibited on campus beginning at noon the day before a game, except for service animals as prescribed by law.
• Loading zone use is limited to 5 minutes, with a person remaining with vehicle.
• Fans should pull to the curb, unload supplies by the curb, and immediately proceed to designated parking areas.
• Safety lanes must remain clear and unobstructed.
• To enhance the Junction’s safety and the entire gameday experience, roads closing four (4) hours before kickoff are: Creelman St. (from Tracy Dr. to Stone Blvd.); Stone Blvd. (from Bost Dr. to Bully Blvd.); Barr Ave. (from Bost Dr. to Collegeview Dr.); and Collegeview St. (from Bailey Howell Dr. to Barr Ave.)
• MSU Dining presents Gameday Central, located at the corner of Creelman St. and Stone Blvd. MSU is serving gameday enthusiasts with a central pick-up location for tailgating orders and supplies, including ice. Orders must be placed before 3 p.m. on Wednesday for Saturday games! For convenient online ordering, visit www.msucatering.com or call the MSU Dining catering office at 662-325-3663.
• Barnes & Noble provides the latest spirit clothing needs at four additional locations inside Davis Wade Stadium.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found is located at the stadium information booths behind section 04 (west side), behind section 09 (northeast corner) and behind section 21 (east side).
Items lost inside Davis Wade Stadium are turned into Game Management and can be reached at 662-325-8158. Items lost in tailgating areas are turned into the Campus Police and can be reached at 662-325-2121. Immediately after the end of a game, Campus Landscape beings cleaning up campus. Items such as keys, silver, jewelry, and anything deemed valuable are turned into Campus Police. All other items left behind such as coolers and tents are disposed of the day after the game. The university is not responsible for any lost items.

Parking

Parking Guidelines/ADA
• No tents, tables or chairs are permitted in parking spaces or on sidewalks.
• Parking on grass is permitted only in designated areas. (Available to general public)
• No parking is allowed on parking lot islands, medians, berms, or the shoulders of streets and roads.
• Parked vehicles must not obstruct traffic or pedestrian access to sidewalks.
• Parking spaces cannot be saved.
• Tailgating is permitted only in areas where traffic or parking is not obstructed and tailgaters must follow all picnic zone regulations.
• Parking areas must be cleared by 7 a.m. the day following the game.
• Reserved lot passes must be displayed at all times; misuse will result in loss of parking privileges.
• In reserved parking lots, parking permits are required for all vehicles and a separate permit is required for all trailers. One space per vehicle.
• REMINDER: Center campus roads close four (4) hours before kickoff (please see this map for road closure information).
ADA Parking
• Please see this map for ADA parking lots. On the map legend, ADA parking is blue. ADA season pass parking is light blue and is marked as Lots A, B and C.
• Cars must have a state issued ADA placard or license plate and must pay the game day parking fee to park in the public ADA parking lots.
• The Parking Assistance Center, now located in the Bryan Building, can provide courtesy cart services from all parking areas. On game days, call 662-325-9114 for all assistance needs.
Pets
Pets are prohibited on campus beginning at noon the day before a game, except for service animals as prescribed by law.

Police
In the Junction, Campus Police have a tent near the Seal M-Club building equipped with first aid supplies. Campus Police can be contacted at 662-325-2121.
Programs
Souvenir game programs can be purchased at various locations on the concourse inside Davis Wade Stadium.
Prohibited Items
The following items are prohibited in Davis Wade Stadium:

Prohibited items discovered during security inspections at designated stadium entrances must either be returned to the owner’s vehicle or discarded. Unlawful items that are discovered during security inspections are subject to confiscation, and the person in possession of those items may be denied entrance into the stadium and subject to arrest. Any prohibited item discovered inside the stadium is subject to confiscation.
Purses/Clutches
Small clutch or purses (no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”) are allowed.

Public restrooms will open in the campus facilities listed above six (6) hours before game time (for games starting after 2:30 p.m.) and four (4) hours before game time (for games starting before 2:30 p.m.). All building public restrooms will close two (2) hours after the conclusion of each game. Portable public restroom facilities will be available 24 hours at locations Identified on this map.
RV Parking
Public
• Public RV parking is located at the Mississippi Horse Park.
• Call 662-325-9350 for more information and reservations.
• Shuttle Service provided.
Reserved
• RV reserved hook-up parking lots 34 and 38 will open at 6 p.m. on Thursday for football weekends. No unauthorized vehicles will be allowed to enter these lots after 3 p.m. Unauthorized vehicles remaining after 5 p.m. will be relocated.
• RVs will be allowed in reserved lots on Wednesday night at 6 p.m. for a Thursday night game and must vacate by 7 a.m. Monday. No unauthorized vehicles will be allowed to enter these lots after 3 p.m. Unauthorized vehicles remaining after 5 p.m. will be relocated.
• RV lots 29 and 31 at the Rec Plex open at 10 a.m. on Friday before game day.
Seat Cushions
Seat cushions and seat cushions with backs without arms and/or pockets are permitted in Davis Wade Stadium.

Shuttles
• Free transit service is provided from various on- and off- campus locations to Giles Hall, Bailey Howell Drive and Newell Grissom by SMART (Starkville-MSU Area Rapid Transit).
• Newell Grissom is serviced by the following:
- (SMART) Hwy 12 Express – service to the Mill, Vowell’s Marketplace, Patriots Park, Kroger, and Wal-Mart via Hwy 12
- Wise Center/Rex Plex Route – service to the Rex Plex and Wise Center via Hailstate Drive
• Bailey Howell Drive bus stop is serviced by the following:
- Research Route – servicing the Thad Cochran Research, Technology, and Economic Development Park
• Giles Hall is serviced by the following:
- (SMART) Old Main Express – service to the Cotton District, Downtown Starkville, Greensboro District and Patriots Park via University Drive
- Research Route – servicing the Thad Cochran Research, Technology, and Economic Development Park
- Davis Wade Express – servicing Downtown Starkville and the Starkville Daily News via Lampkin Street
• Transit service is also available through a reservation with the Mississippi Horsepark.
• No coolers are allowed.
• SMART routes are 7 a.m.– 8 p.m. or two (2) hours post game, whichever is later.
• All other routes operate from three (3) hours prior to the game until two (2) hours post game.

Solicitation
Mississippi State University policy prohibits any solicitation of any unauthorized item for sale, trade or giveaway on MSU property on game day. This includes solicitation of charitable donations. Violators of this policy will be asked to leave campus and may be citing for trespassing or subject to arrest.

Strollers
Strollers are permitted in Davis Wade Stadium but cannot be taken into seating areas or parked in aisles, on ramps or at any other location that blocks walkways or emergency egress. Strollers with baby supplies must adhere to the clear bag policy. Non-clear bags transported on strollers are not permitted. MSU is not responsible for strollers left unattended.

Tickets
• Every person regardless of age including infants is required to have a ticketed seat in Davis Wade Stadium. There are no passouts or re-entry allowed without purchasing a new ticket.
• The Davis Wade Stadium Ticket Office opens three (3) hours prior to kickoff of each home game. It is located in the north end zone, lower level (adjacent to Mississippi Plaza)

Umbrellas
Umbrellas are prohibited inside Davis Wade Stadium.

Water Refilling Stations
Water bottle refilling stations will be located on the northeast and northwest corners of the ground level concourse, east side ground level, and west side 300 level concourse.

Weather Situations
Mississippi State University Police, Emergency Management, and Game Operations will monitor the weather 24 hours a day leading up to and through game day. Public address statements will be provided inside the stadium as conditions warrant once gates open two (2) hours prior to kick off.
