STARKVILLE, Miss. - Mississippi State's first-round game in the National Invitation Tournament against Mississippi Valley State, slated for 7 p.m. CT Tuesday night at Humphrey Coliseum, will be available via live video streaming through the NIT's broadcasting partnership with ESPN and XOS Technologies.
The video stream, which will begin approximately at game time, can be purchased through XOS' NIT web site at the rate of $7.95. All current MSU Maroon to the Max subscribers will receive a $2 discount (priced at $5.95) through a special discount code which will be e-mailed to them on Tuesday.
Due to NIT contract stipulations, the video stream will not be available to current Maroon to the Max subscribers through their M2M account. Thus, for live video, all fans must utilize the ESPN/XOS option for live video streaming of the game. However, full live audio play-by-play will be offered through M2M's facilities.
Fans should also note that, due to the announced CSS television broadcast of Tuesday's game, the ESPN/XOS video stream will be blacked out in some CSS markets. Fans will be notified if their area is blocked out during the video sign up process, before any charges would be incurred.
