Lady Bulldogs Set For Lady Gator Invitational
GAINESVILLE, Fla. ?€“ The Mississippi State women's golf team will compete in the Suntrust Lady Gator Invitational this weekend (March 10-11) at the University Course in Ganesville, Fla. This weekend's tournament is the first in a series of three straight in the next three weeks.
"This weekend's event will be the first of three tournaments in the next three weekends," said MSU coach Christi Sanders. "We are excited about starting these travels in Florida with some warmer weather. The team in up for the challenge against a strong field."
Competing for State will be Julia Huh, Amanda Mathis, Suzanne Stanley, Leigh Phillips and Gina Sharp. The Lady Bulldogs are coming off of a fifth place finish two weeks ago at the Chrysler Challenge in Sandestin, Fla.
