Woods Concludes Season At National Championships
SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Mississippi State sophomore all-American ChrisWoods (Atlanta, Ga.) opened competition for MSU on Wednesday afternoonat the 2006 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at the Alex G.Spanos Complex in Sacramento, Calif.
Woods ran 1 minute, 51.46 seconds to finish 26th overall. The top 16from today's preliminary advanced to tomorrow's semifinal.
Tomorrow, junior Jen McPherson (Nampa, Idaho) runs the women's1500-meter run and the men's 4x400-meter relay team compete inpreliminaries for their events.
