Jackson Academy's Greenlee Latest Addition To Track Signees

In two years under Joey Hawkins at Jackson Academy, Greenlee is athree-time Mississippi Private Schools Association (MPSA) Class AAAstate champion. As a junior, Greenlee won the high jump title andrepeated the performance as a senior. He also won the triple jump titleas a senior. He set the North State record in the high jump as ajunior, clearing a personal best 6 feet, 10 inches. His personal bestin the triple jump is 41-07 1/2. He was named the squad's Most ValuablePlayer both seasons.
In addition to track and field, Greenlee was a Jackson Clarion Ledgerall-Metro selection in football and all-MPSA standout. He helped leadthe Raiders to state titles in football and basketball his seniorseason.
As a sophomore, Greenlee competed one season at Winona (Miss.) Academy.
"I'm really excited to be coming to MSU," Greenlee said. "I'm ready toget to work and put my potential to the max."
At JA, Greenlee was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletesand the Sports Medicine Club.
A native of Kilmichael, Miss., Greenlee is the son of Diane and LarryGreenlee. His dad is a former Bulldog, having played football at Stateduring the early 70's.
