Mississippi State Announces Summer Soccer Camps
The girls' residential camp, which will run June 11-15, is open to all girls ages nine through 18. Campers will be grouped according to age and ability and each daily session will be devoted to technical skills training as well as tactical development. Evening sessions will consist of full-field games that will incorporate daily topics.
Campers will receive 24-hour supervision on a daily basis and will be housed in air conditioned dormitories. Training sessions are with coaches, as well as former and current MSU Soccer players. All MSU camps are staffed full-time by certified athletic trainers and all campers will receive an MSU Soccer Camp ball and t-shirt.
The cost of the girls' residential camp with full in-residence tuition is $420, while commuters (day students) are discounted to $350. Deposits for the girls' residential camp should be received by May 26, 2006. A non-refundable deposit of $150 will be required to attend this camp.
The boys' and girls' residential camp, which will run simultaneously to the residential camp from June 12-15, is open to all campers ages six through 12. Campers will be grouped according to age and ability. Each daily session will begin with a technical skills topic, with the latter part of training leading into tactical development.
Each girls and boys day camper will receive constant adult supervision at each daily session. Training sessions are with coaches, as well as former and current MSU Soccer players. All MSU camps are staffed full-time by certified athletic trainers. All campers will receive an MSU Soccer Camp ball and t-shirt.
The cost of the girls and boys day camp is $140. Deposits for the girls and boys day camp should be received by May 26, 2006. A non-refundable desposit of $75 will be required to attend this camp.
