Lady Bulldogs In 13th With One Round To Play At Liz Murphey Collegiate
Junior Amanda Mathis paced State for the second straight day, shooting a 77and stands in a tie for 18th. Senior Stephanie Godare duplicated her firstround 80 Saturday, and sits in a tie for 49th. Julia Huh has a two roundscore of 165 after a second round 83, while Ashleigh Korzack is in a tie for79th, two shots back. Freshman Leigh Phillips fired an 87 on day two toround out scoring for Mississippi State.
Host Georgia moved to the top of the leaderboard, shooting a field-best 302in the second round. UGA has a five-stroke lead over second-place team WakeForest heading into tomorrow's final round. Auburn's Nicole Hage,Vanderbilt's Chris Brandi and Washington's Amber Prange stand at the top ofthe leaderboard at four over par.
Tomorrow's final round action will begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. CTat the UGA Golf Course.
