Lady Bulldogs Tied For 12th After First Round Of Liz Murphey Collegiate
Leading the way for the Lady Bulldogs in the first round was junior AmandaMathis. She fired a 76 in first round action and stands in a tie for 12th.Senior Stephanie Godare carded an 80 on day one and is in a tie for 47th.Ashleigh Korzack, Julia Huh and Leigh Phillips all fired an 82 for Staterounding out the scorecard for the first round.
Wake Forest stands on top of the leaderboard after the first round, firing a298 and have a three shot lead over second-place and host team Georgia.Georgia senior Jackie Beers shot the only round below par Friday, firing a69 and has a three shot lead in the individual race.
Second round action will begin Saturday morning at 8 a.m. CT with afirst-tee format. Sunday's final round will also begin at 8 a.m. CT, butwill begin with a shotgun start.
