Bulldogs Fourth After Two Rounds Of The South Alabama Spring Classic
State was in second place following round one, but slipped two spots in the afternoon round. The linksters head in to Tuesday's final round 10 strokes out of second place held by Middle Tennessee State .
Current SEC Golfer of the Week Noah Goldman stands fourth in the individual standings after carding a 4-under par 68 and a 76 on the day to lead all MSU golfers. Junior Josh Oller opened the event at 1-under par and fired a 2-over par 74 in the second round. The Brandon, Miss. product holds the ninth-place spot after 36 holes. Logan Young and Matt Fast finish up MSU's first-round score with a 73 and 74 respectively. Freshman Carlos Sainz, Jr. registered a second-round score of 74 to help pace the scoring for State.
The South Alabama Classic will conclude on Tuesday at 8 a.m. CT.
