MSU Netmen Conclude Weekend By Hosting Alabama
Mississippi State is 2-4 overall and 0-3 in Southeastern Conference playthis season. The Bulldogs two victories came against non-conference foes UABand South Alabama, while all four losses came against SEC opponents. Stateis 2-1 at home this season improving their home record to 115-38 over thepast 13 seasons.
Alabama comes into the match with a 4-5 overall record and a 1-2 mark inleague play. The Tide is led by junior Joseph Jung who is 12-9 overall thisyear.
Sunday's meeting will be the 45th between the two programs with Stateholding a 24-20 advantage. State also leads Alabama 11-10 in matches playedin Starkville. Last season, State won a 5-2 decision over Alabama inTuscaloosa. Alabama head coach Billy Pate was a four-year letterwinner forthe Bulldogs from 1988-91.
