Men's Golf Slips A Notch To Fifth After 36 Holes Of The Seminole Intercollegiate
Junior Josh Oller produced State's low-round of the day, firing a 3-under par 69 to move in to the top-20 on the individual leaderboard. The Brandon, Miss. native rebounded from Sunday's round of 76. Freshman Noah Goldman continued his steady play with an even-par round of 72 on Monday. The Longwood, Fla. product stands at 1-under and in a tie for 11th heading into the final round. Freshman Matt Fast posted MState's second even-par round of 72. Fast is currently 26th after two days of competition. Logan Young finalized MSU's scoring with a 77.
East Tennessee State will take a five-shot advantage in to the final round over Coastal Carolina. ETSU is at 16-under, while CCU is at 11-under. MSU is just five strokes out of the top-three in the team standings.
ETSU's Dustin Johnson continues to lead the individual race after carding a second round 67 on Monday.
The Maroon and White will close out the Seminole Intercollegiate starting at 8 a.m. C.T. on Tuesday.
