In the 5000-meter run, junior Mina Thorstenson ran a personal-best17:32.42 to finish fifth and post the fourth-best time in schoolhistory. Junior Joy Griffith ran a season-best 17:37.62 to finishbehind Thorstenson in sixth.
In the collegiate mile run, junior Liz Grube shaved seven seconds offher personal best to finish 16th in the event, running 5:01.66.
Despite not advancing out of the preliminaries, freshman GabrielleDillon improved her time in the 60-meter dash, coming across the finishline in 7.64. In the 60-meter hurdles, Marrissa Harris ran hersecond-best time of the season in 8.87. Following her season-endinginjury from a year ago, senior Lauren Johnson leaped a season-best17-10¾ in the long jump.
