Stallworth Signs With Bulldog Football
STARKVILLE, Miss. - Mississippi State University head football coach Sylvester Croom announced Monday the signing of Arnil Stallworth to a National Letter of Intent to play football for the Bulldogs beginning with the 2006 season. Stallworth joins the 22 student-athletes MSU signed last week and the one mid-year transfer State inked in December.

HIGH SCHOOL: Rushed for 2,018 yards and 21 touchdowns during his senior season for head coach Glenn Vickery at Daphne (Ala.) High School . . . Led the Trojans to the Alabama Class 6A state title game against nationally ranked Hoover High School . . . Led all rushers with 102 yards on the ground in that championship game . . . Culminated his career by being named a finalist for the Class 6A Back of the Year and the state's Mr. Football Award . . . Was also named the Mobile Register's co-Offensive Player of the Year . . . Credited with running a 4.75 in the 40-yard dash and with an impressive 4.38-second timing in the shuttle run at the Auburn Scout.com combine . . . His breakthrough senior season came after scoring just two touchdowns offensively as a junior.
