Mouillon Earns SEC Player Of The Week Honor

The Le Perreux, France native compiled straight-set singles wins in allthree matches that the Bulldogs played in the tournament and notched avictory in his only doubles match that was completed. Mouillon defeatedTexas Tech's Dimitrio Martinez 6-4, 6-4 in State's opening round match ofthe event. Against Colorado, Mouillon and teammate Florent Girod won 8-2over CU's Marek Dvorak and Jan Zelezny, helping State clinch the doublespoint for only the second time this season. In singles play againstColorado, Mouillon knocked off Marko Bundalo 6-3, 6-3. Mouillon closed outplay at the Blue-Gray Classic, clinching State's win over Oregon with a winat the #2 singles position. Mouillon won a 6-3, 7-6(4) match over UO's ArronSpencer solidifying MSU's 4-1 victory.
Mouillon has now won four straight singles matches on the season and hasupped his overall record to 16-9. He is also 8-2 in dual matches thisseason, including a 3-1 mark in league play.
The honor for Mouillon marks the 10th time a Bulldog has won the awardsince it was initiated for tennis in 2000. He joins Jeremy Bayon, MarcoBaron, Rene-Charles Combette, Romain Ambert, Luiz Carvalho and Girod whohave earned the honor.
