MSU's Deraney Completes First Round Of NCAA Competition
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Mississippi State senior golfer Joe Deraney completed hisopening round at the NCAA Men's Golf East Regional this morning at the par-71Golf Club of Tennessee course. The Statesboro, Ga. product finished with atwo-over par 73 (+2). He finished his last four holes at even par afterregistering a birdie on his final hole Thursday evening.
The field was delayed this morning due to weather, but were able to conclude thefirst round at 8:21 a.m. this morning.
