Day Three Of SEC Championships To Resume At 6 P.M. CT
NASHVILLE, Tenn. ?€“?€“ Competition at the 2005 Southeastern Conference Track and Field Championships resumed Saturday evening following nearly a three hoursevere weather delay at Vanderbilt.
Storm cells that produced lightning strikes and heavy rain in Nashville first delayed the finals of the Men's Discus, Men's High Jump and Women's Long Jump at 2:50 Central Time.
The delayed events were scheduled to resume around 6 p.m. local time.
All track events will start as initally scheduled, beginning with the Men's 1,500-Meters at 7 p.m.
