10-Seed Lady Bulldog Golfers Head To NCAA East Regionals

Mississippi State will be joined in the 21-team East Regional by top rankedand Atlantic Coast Conference Champions Duke. Three other SoutheasternConference teams will also make the trip to Gainesville next weekend tocompete for the regional championship. Florida, South Carolina andVanderbilt were a part of the nine teams from the SEC that receivedregional bids. Auburn is the one seed in the Central Regional while Georgiais a number two seed in the West Regional. Other SEC teams named to aregional include Tennessee, LSU, and Arkansas. The Bulldogs last apperancein NCAA Regional play was in 2003 when MSU finished 12 at the EastRegionals in Clemmons, N.C.
The top eight teams and top two individuals from each of the threeregionals will advance to play in the NCAA Championships on May 17-20 atthe Sunriver Resort in Sunriver, Ore.
