#27 Lady Bulldogs Take On #48 Mississippi For SEC West Crown

Statistically, the Lady Bulldogs continue to be led by sophomore and18th-ranked Zsuzsanna Fodor, who has posted a 13-3 singles mark during thespring campaign. The Budapest, Hungary, native picked up her 13th singleswin last Sunday when she defeated South Carolina's Danielle Wiggins 6-3, 6-1in the Lady Bulldogs 4-3 loss at Carolina. Her only three losses have cometo fellow top 25 players.
Not far behind with an 11-4 singles mark is State's Tarryn Rudman. Afternotching two wins last weekend at No. 7 Florida and No. 25 South Carolina,the former Randpark, South Africa, product won her career-best seventhsingles match in a row. Rudman began the season 0-3 inside SEC play, buthas reeled off seven consecutive wins to up her singles mark to 11-4 duringthe spring season.
Following State's match with Mississippi on Friday, the Lady Bulldogs returnthe court Thursday, Apr. 21 as the Bulldogs take part in the 2005 SECTournament in Tuscaloosa, Ala. All tournament seedings with be determinedafter this weekend¹s slate of competition.
