Winners of five of their last six SEC matches, the Lady Bulldogs jumped onespot in this week's poll following a 2-0 showing against Arkansas and LSUlast weekend. Sophomore Zsuzsanna Fodor improved her singles ranking threespots to No. 18 and junior Anastasia Kugakolova made her first appearance inthe polls this season, checking in at No. 93 after an undefeated weekend.State¹s No. 1 doubles combo of Fodor and Kugakolova also jumped in thepolls, moving seven spots from No. 20 to No. 13.
Florida enters Friday's match having won its last six matches including fourstraight in the SEC. Last weekend the Lady Gators picked up two roadvictories after upsetting then-No. 3 Georgia Friday afternoon and knockingoff 25th-ranked Tennessee on Sunday.
MSU wraps up its weekend competition with Sunday's match at South Carolina.The Lady Gamecocks have lost their last two SEC matches, but own a 15-1all-time series lead over the Bulldogs with State¹s lone win coming on USC'shome court in 1989.
