Dye To Address Coaches At MSU Football Clinic
The clinic, open to high school and junior college coaches, will be held at the Shira Athletic Complex and its adjacent football practice fields. During the past several years, hundreds of coaches from a seven-state area throughout the South have attended MSU's clinic.
Dye, who served as head coach at Auburn from 1981 to 1992, won 99 games during his 12 seasons with the Tigers, and claimed four Southeastern Conference championships, including three straight from 1987 to '89. His teams played in nine bowl games.
When Dye concluded his Auburn coaching career, he was the winningest coach in SEC history by percentage and was named the league's coach of the year three times.
Registration for the MSU Football Coaches Clinic will begin at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, March 31. Additional information may be obtained by calling the football office at 662-325-2534.
