Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs Finish Regular Season At Ole Miss Invitational
STARKVILLE, Miss. -- Mississippi State University's men's and women's track and field teams travel to Oxford, Miss., on Saturday, May 1, for their final regular season meet, the Ole Miss Invitational, at the Ole Miss Track and Field Complex. The meet is set to begin at noon with the women's hammer throw and the men's javelin.
The field of teams includes Alabama, Arkansas-Little Rock, Louisiana-Monroe, Louisiana Tech, Memphis, Mississippi, Tulane, Southeastern Louisiana and Southern Miss.
So far this season, the Bulldogs have qualified for regionals in 13 events with eight different relay team combinations and 17 individual athletes competing in the events. The Lady Bulldogs have five athletes qualified in four events.
