MSU Track Teams Head To Austin For Texas Relays
STARKVILLE, Miss. -- The Mississippi State University's men's and women'strack and field teams travel to Austin, Texas, on Wednesday, March 3, forthe 2004 Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays. The four day event will be held atthe Mike A. Myers Stadium, a state-of-the-art, $13 million facility openedin 1999.
The meet begins for the Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs on Wednesday, at noonwith the men's decathlon and the women's heptathlon at 12:30 p.m.
MSU's 2003 women's distance medley relay team of Jennifer McPherson, NicoleDunn, Zita Magloire and Tiffany McWilliams currently holds the Texas Relaysrecord with their time of 11:21.10. The team will defend its title andrecord on Saturday at 1:05 p.m.
