STARKVILLE, Miss. -- Mississippi State University's men's and women's trackand field teams host the 2004 Bulldog Invitational on Saturday, March 26, atthe W.O. Spencer Stadium / Carl Maddox Track. The meet is set to begin at 9a.m. with the men's hammer throw and women's javelin.
STARKVILLE, Miss. -- Mississippi State University's men's and women's trackand field teams host the 2004 Bulldog Invitational on Saturday, March 26, atthe W.O. Spencer Stadium / Carl Maddox Track. The meet is set to begin at 9a.m. with the men's hammer throw and women's javelin.
So far this season, the men have set six regional qualifying marks in fourdifferent events- 4x100m relay, sprint medley relay, high jump and longjump. The women look to set their first regional marks this weekend.
Some the participating schools are Albany State, Arkansas State, HindsCommunity College, Indiana State, Jacksonville State, Lindenwood College,Memphis, Middle Tennessee, Mississippi State University, SouthernMississippi, Southwest Missouri and Wallace State Community College.
At the 2003 meet, State's men scored 161 points overall, finishing behindIndiana State with 202 points. The Lady Bulldogs recorded 147 points forsecond place also behind Indiana State with 152 1/2 points.
