Lady Bulldog Netters Back In Action, At Georgia This Weekend
STARKVILLE, Miss. ?-- The Mississippi State University women's tennis team faces the second-ranked Georgia Bulldogs on Friday, March 19, at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Ga., at 3 p.m. Georgia leads the series with State, 24-0.
In their last match, the Lady Bulldogs fell 4-3 to then No. 45 Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
MSU's Tarryn Rudman paces the team in singles with her 6-4 record and .600 winning percentage. Rudman has played all but one of her matches at the No. 4 spot. Hayley Rudman is the individual doubles leader on the team with an 8-10 overall record.
On Sunday, the squad travels to Knoxville, Tenn., to take on the No. 29 Lady Vols, who leads the overall series 22-3. The match is set to begin at 1 p.m. ET at the UT Varsity Courts.
