ESPN2 Will Televise Indoor Track Championships
STARKVILLE, Miss. --? ESPN2 is set to televise the 2004 Indoor Track and Field Championships on Wednesday, March 17, at 2:30 p.m. MSU's Tiffany McWilliams was crowned the NCAA National Champion in the mile run with her career-fastest time of 4:32.24 to win the race, edging out last season's champion Johanna Nilsson of Northern Arizona.
McWilliams's performance ranks as the top time run by a United States athlete so far this season, according to the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) website. Her time is fourth in the world.
