Men's Golf Slips To 13th After 36 Holes At Conrad Rehling
Junior Joe Deraney had the best round for the Bulldogs. He fired a two-over par 75. He stands in 16th place heading in to the final day. The Statesboro, Ga. native will look for his sixth top-20 finish of the season. Tim Satow and Jared Jimenez both carded a 79. Jimenez fell to a tie for 28th after shooting even par on Friday. He was tied for 10th after the first 18 holes. Daniel Boles turned in an 80 for a two-round total of 155. Carl Sutton finished the day with a nine-over par 81.
Host Alabama leads the tournament after two days. The Crimson Tide fired a 287 to take a one shot advantage in to the final round over first round-leader Jacksonville State. No. 21 Kentucky jumped two spots to third after 36 holes. The Wildcat's John Holmes is the individual leader at six-under par. UA's Lars Brovold is one shot behind him at five-under par.
The Conrad Rehling Invitational will conclude Sunday with tee times beginning at 8 a.m.
