Courtney Lloyd Hubert, Erin Elizabeth Hubert
Courtney and Erin were lifelong residents of Vicksburg and were of the Baptist faith.
Courtney, a 2002 high honor graduate of Warren Central High School, was a student at Mississippi State University where she served as goalkeeper on the MSU women's soccer team.
In high school, she was a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the annual staff. She was named Most Valuable Player for four years as a member of the girls' soccer team. She was named 2002 Mississippi Gatorade Player of the Year and was the 2002 Pop Allen Pop Star award winner from the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame.
She had been a member of the Vicksburg Cotillion Club, Rebelettes Service Club, Cannon Soccer Club, Brandon Aslans and Jackson Futbol Club.
Erin, a GATES student at Warren Central Intermediate School, played soccer and softball for eight years. She served as goalkeeper for the Jackson Futbol Club U-12 team and was first baseman for the Vicksburg Sluggers softball team. She was a member of the GAs at Woodlawn Baptist Church.
In addition to their parents, they are survived by their paternal grandmother, Lucille Hubert of Vicksburg; their maternal grandfather, William E. Reedy Sr. of Inverness; an aunt, Jaketa Platt; and three uncles, Jack Reedy, William Reedy Jr. and Will Hubert.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Vicksburg Convention Center with the Revs. Kent Campbell and Mark Rowlen officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at Fisher Funeral Home.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Mississippi State University women's soccer team.
Pallbearers for Erin will be Chad Henley, Howard Parks, Chris Macy, Craig Fischenich, Christopher Macy and Tony Franco.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Jackson Futbol Club U-12 girls and Vicksburg Sluggers girls' softball team.
