State Men Conclude Regular Season At The Atlanta Intercollegiate
In his final tournament as a Bulldog, Codie Mudd led the squad with a six-over par performance and finished in a tie for 36th place (76-73-73). Joe Deraney finished in 49th place with a 10-over par showing (73-78-75).
Marshalltown, Iowa, native Jay Giannetto shot a 76, his best round of the tournament, on the final day leaving him in 62nd place (78-87-76). Two strokes behind Giannetto, Kellen Maurer also shot a final round 76 putting him in 63rd place. Craig Horrocks finished the tournament with a 259 stroke performance (82-89-88).
Shooting a tournament record team score of 828, SEC Champion Florida captured the Atlanta Intercollegiate title. Earning individual medalist honors, Florida's junior Camilo Villegas shot an unreachable 22-under par 194, edging the previous top individual score of 197.
