MSU Men Finish Day Two In 9th Place At The Billy Hitchcock Intercollegiate
Leading the Bulldogs after 32 holes, sophomore Joe Deraney shot a one-under par on day two (73-71). Deraney climbed four spots in the standings from day one to a current tie in seventh-place.
Lone senior Codie Mudd shot a two-under par 70 on day two putting him in a tie for 15th-place (76-70). Parkdale, Oregon native Kellen Maurer had a four-over par showing leaving him in a tie for 47th-place entering the final day of competition (78-76).
Improving by one stroke from day one, Craig Horrocks' 78-stroke performance puts him tied at 60th-place (79-78). Jay Giannetto is in 66th-place after 32 holes (80-84)
UAB is the new team leader after an 11-under par round two (301-277). Charleston's Bruce McDonald leads the field at seven-under par (69-68).
