Cold Weather Alters State's Softball Series With Rebels
OXFORD, Miss. -- Due to bitter cold temperatures that have blanketed the state of Mississippi on Wednesday, the regularly scheduled series between the Mississippi State (28-16, 8-9 SEC) and University of Mississippi (14-24, 3-12) softball series has been altered.
The Rebels and Bulldogs will open their series with a 5 p.m. single game on Wednesday and close out the series on Thursday with a twinbill scheduled for 5 p.m. under the lights of the Ole Miss Softball Complex. Melissa Massey (18-6) is scheduled to head to the circle for Mississippi State, while Lindsay Price (8-10) will start in the circle for the Rebels.
