Lady Bulldogs In Sixth Place After Second Day of LSU/Cleveland
BATON ROUGE, La. -- After the second day of action at the LSU/Cleveland Golf Classic, Mississippi State stands in sixth place. The Lady Bulldogs fired a 304 on the second round. The Lady Bulldogs have fired a two-day total of 618.
Natalie Booth leads MSU firing a 73 in action today. Booth is in a tie for 16th place. Teammate Beth Irwin who was tied with Booth after the first round is in a tie for 26th place. Irwin shot a 77 in the second round today along with Sofie Andersson and Anna Knutsson. Andersson now stands in a tie for 31st, while Knuttson is in a tie for 36th. In her second tournament of the season, Janet Dyer is in a tie for 40th, firing a 79 in the second day of the tournament.
North Carolina Wilmington is on top of the team leaderboard firing a second day total of 292. Host LSU is in second shooting a 299 in the second day of action followed by Tulane with a 294. Leah Hart of Augusta State leads in the individual leaderboard shooting a 72 in the second day of action. Amelie Farrah of UNCW is in second firing a 69 in the second round as JenniferBridwell of Charleston is in third with a 74.
