Day Two Of NCAA Regional 3 Officially Washed Out
'Dogs Take On Host Louisiana-Lafayette At 9 a.m. Saturday
LAFAYETTE, La. -- With day three of NCAA Regional 3 in Lafayette, La., officially being declared a wash out late Friday evening, fifth-seeded Mississippi State (36-30) will play its next game of the tournament on Saturday, taking on third-seeded and tournament host Louisiana-Lafayette (49-12) at 9 a.m. The winner of the redeye contest between the Bulldogs and Ragin' Cajuns will face top seeded LSU at approximately 2 p.m. following a winner's bracket game between second-seeded Arizona State and fourth-seeded UMass.
