Day Two Of Florida State Sunshine Classic Rained Out
22nd-Ranked 'Dogs To Battle No. 18 Florida State, Kansas On Sunday
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Due to a steady rainfall throughout the Tallahassee, Fla., area Saturday, the 22nd-ranked Mississippi State softball team's (12-6) regular scheduled games against 18th-ranked Florida State (14-6) and Kansas (4-7) have been postponed until Sunday. The Bulldogs, who are coming off a 1-0 loss to Texas in 14 innings Friday evening at the tournament, will battle tournament-host FSU at 10 a.m. CT Sunday morning and will face Kansas at 2 p.m. Both games will be played at the 1,000-seat Seminole Softball Complex. Semifinal and championship games have been stricken from the Sunshine Classic tournament slate.
